The successful maiden voyage on SITC Weifang-Japan new route
On February 28, 2024, SITC "Weifang-Japan" direct route successfully made its maiden voyage.
Weifang Port is located on the south coast of Laizhou Bay in the Bohai Sea，which has a superior location. The opening of SITC's new "Weifang-Japan" route will provide direct and convenient services from Weifang to Japan for customers in the hinterland around Weifang. As self-operated route, the new route has the advantages of stable shipping schedule, guaranteed shipping space, guaranteed containers, and complete container types.
The successful maiden voyage of the new route further improves SITC's service network in the Shandong Peninsula region and provides customers with a more efficient, convenient and economical logistics service channel. The new route saves land transportation costs for customers and fully implements SITC's sustainable development philosophy of providing customers with green and low-carbon supply chain services.
